My name is Sujitai Kumari Majhi, and I come from Chandranagar Gaupalikal in Pokhariya, Sarlahi. Like many others in my community, my family has always struggled financially.
We have always had to work hard to make ends meet. About five months ago, I had the opportunity to start learning tailoring with Lily Leaves. I was hesitant at first because I had no prior experience, but I decided to give it a try.
The training was tough, and there were times when I felt like giving up. But with time, I started to see improvements in my skills, and I grew more confident with each passing day. Now, I'm proud to say that I have lots of work and am able to contribute to my family's income.
Before the training, I had nothing to do and felt like I was stuck in a rut. But now, I have a sense of purpose and direction. I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn something new and for the support of my trainers and family along the way.
My journey has taught me that with determination and hard work, we can overcome even the toughest challenges. I'm excited to see where this new skill will take me and what other opportunities may arise in the future.
