My name is Sunita Rai, and I am from Udayapur, Gaighat. Before joining Lily Leaves organization's basic tailoring training program, I had been struggling to find work that I enjoyed and that provided a decent income. I decided to enroll in the training program, hoping to learn a new skill and improve my employment prospects.
The training has been a great success for me, and I have learned a lot over the past six months. I can now confidently sew and tailor a variety of garments, and I have gained the skills necessary to start my own tailoring business.
Before the training, I didn't have any work to do, but now I have plenty of work to keep me busy. I am grateful for the opportunity provided to me by Lily Leaves organization, and I look forward to continuing to use my newfound skills to support myself and my family.
