My name is Shivkali Devi Sadda and I come from Gobindapur, Dhanusadham, Janakpur. For the past five months, I have been on a journey of self-improvement and growth. I decided to enroll in a tailoring training program with Lily Leaves, an organization dedicated to empowering women through education and skill-building. I was the first group to join the tailoring training program, and it has been a life-changing experience.
Before the training, I had nothing to do, and my family's financial situation was not good. However, with the training, I have gained a new skill and am now able to work and earn a living. The journey has not been easy, and there have been challenges along the way. But with the support of my family and the Lily Leaves team, I have persevered and continued to learn and grow.
I am married, and my husband has been very supportive of my decision to enroll in the training program. Overall, this journey has taught me the importance of education and skill-building, and how it can transform lives. I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to using my new skills to support myself and my family.
